Kadadora Vihara is a Buddhist temple situated in Kotmale area where the Kotmale Reservoir situated today. During the construction of the reservoir, the temple was abandoned and left to be submerged. Since then the temple rests underwater and it is still protected up to a great extent. Time to time in prolonged droughts, when the water level of the reservoir goes down, the temple becomes visible. It is an exciting and rare thing to witness. It is something never to be missed if one got a chance to see it. The place is situated nearby Komale Dam.
