We only took it down after taking a taxi up. It was definitely worth the money, but sadly there's no view on the way.

Nice little ride up well worth the €3 return trip. Shame the main building was covered in scaffolding. But worth it just for the views.

Helpful ticketseller good access with wheelchair or people with difficulty walking. Parking garage nearby a little hard to see without a GPS. Worth a detour or just a day visit together with viana do castelo

It's fee station is east of the hospital and poorly sign posted but don't give up. Only €3 round trip. Nice way to get near the Citania ruins.
