A Must see for sure!

Just really fun to walk at Ponte De Dom Luis I from one side to the other and see Porto from a different angle. If can be quite busy but the experience is definitely great!

We walked along the top scary but brilliant views then got the cable car to the port cellars. We then walked back along the bottom.

Prettier at night. Very disappointed with Porto. The bridge was ok and taking the view and culture in was ok but overall not worth the trip up from Lisbon.

The bridge is the centerpiece of the city let's be honest. Be sure to walk across the top and bottom to get unique perspectives from both. Also forget about taking pictures of the bridge from the Port side (North) walk across and get a shot of the bridge with the beautiful multicolored Riverside buildings, it's worth the hike.

What a stunning bridge as you cross over into Cais de Gaia. We walked across the top where the modern day metro crosses and then underneath where the road is. The bridge is especially beautiful at night

I recommend you to cross the bridge walking to get an amazing view of the city of Porto. A very nice spot.

A nice bridge that gives access to both sides of the river at two levels. The top level has the tram line also which means that you still have to get down to the waterfront. Either cable car or funicular.

This bridge has two decks, the upper deck has some spectacular views up the river and of the old town. Make sure you take off your hat before walking out as it get very windy. The lower deck gives river level views. There is a historical site of the old bridge and about a past tragedy at the site. The... More

Great area to walk around and explore. Offers excellent viewpoint of Porto by the Duoro River. Walk towards the cafe by the cable car or the park as it is a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
