The park around the pavilion was nice, but not a lot there. A small cafe to get some refreshment, but otherwise nothing happening.

This structure made from metal and glass is set impressive surroundings. We enjoyed watching the beautifully coloured chickens and peacocks strolling the area. There are goo vies from this elevated site of the river Douro in both directions.

I expected a lot more from theses gardens. Maybe it was because we were there in November. They have a lot of potential as there is a great setting. We found them very run down. However the grass and tress were well kept and there...More

Very nice park with nice views. Great to have a stroll and a drink on a sunny day. The Palacio itself is not so special, kind of a old and torn building, a sport arena I believe.

Stunning gardens in the middle of Porto. There are formal and more informal gardens with free roaming peacocks and chickens which are very tame. The cafe in the middle serves beer and some cocktails and has an extremely friendly server. Well worth a visit.

Interesting architecture, I only viewed it from outside. But definitely worth seeing. I viewed it from the city tour bus,

Since, you have to work your way down by Palacio de CristalI, it is a bit impractical. You can find though lots of parking space near the entrance to the garden (on top), and then you'd need to come back to the car, or park... More

As far as I know dogs are allowed on leashes as long as you clean up after them.
