Azulejosazulejos!

Bea really nice little church right in the middle of the city. I fell in love with its azulejos, light blue and white everywhere

This small but very nice church is on the Rua Santa Catarina, the main shopping street. The facade is just wonderful, full with blue-white tiles. You should gi in, because it is worth to visit.

All covered with typical portuguese blue tiles. The interior shows a very old catholic architecture, diferent from other more large and sumptuous churches.

The Capela has wonderful exterior tile mosaics. The interior of the chapel is also impressive. I would rate this a "must see" attraction.

This Church is right on the santa Catarina street. It is in the shopping district. I did not visit the Inside but the outside ceramic is really worth looking.

The building is located on the main shopping street and it symbolically shows how ugly is human world in comparison to the God's house. You will be amazed when you see it all of a sudden on your way. Watch carefully all stories on the walls. The azujelos have something important to tell you.

It is tiny but very pretty though the outside is not too attractive. Mass in Portuguese many times a day and on sundays. Liked the Azulejos on the back wall. Will upload picture sometime.

This chapel is the meeting site for Invicta City Tours and is very easy to get to and recognize. It is covered in the characteristic Portuguese blue and white tiles on its exterior. It is at the junction of Rua Santa Catarina and Rua Fernandes Tomas right by the metro station. Inside, its pretty typical for this era but worth... More
