We booked a table at 9pm and were seated, we were shown menus and ordered starters, mains and drinks. At 9.20 our waitress returned to tell us all the starters we ordered had run out, we decided to just have main courses instead, 15 minutes later the waitress returned again and said one of the main courses now had run out, so we had to pick another main course, this was 32 minutes after ordering. We eventually got the food 1 hour and 5 minutes after entering the building. The food was very good, but they seem hopeless with organising what’s available and what is not available on the menu. A ruined first night in Porto.

If you are in the square then its worth the thirty seconds to see it. Or if it starts to rain you can get under cover, be aware that the water runs off there also the steps have their very own river. Wet feet alert.
