Unless you are into military history the Castle itself was not worth visiting. There were no gardens and a lot of steps!

Good to visit, there's a few cafes too. The main castle was closed when we visited on Monday but the old town was good enough for us to spend a good hour exploring. Nice walk/views on top of the wall around the old town.
