A good occasion to climb few hundred steps symbols of 5 senses and 3 virtues. Great views from the hill. A possibility to use a very old funicular.

You really can’t go to Braga and not go to Bom Jesus. Beautiful views and a beautiful church to look at. You can park right next to the church and you only pay 1€ for a full day of parking. There are some public toilets...More

A visit to Braga isn't complete without visiting Bom Jesus. Beautifully located where you should take the stairs if you are in decent condition. Try not to run, but take the time to follow the storyline of Jesus, look at the statues and enjoy the...More

I stopped here with my bus tour group. Our group had an hour to look around the area, which is very scenic. There are 22 outdoor shrines that depict the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ. There are numerous sets of steps leading to each...More

From the architectural point , this is a very beautiful place. But besides that, you also get great views from the mountain, and a spiritual experience. We were lucky to be there in May , when roses and other flowers were blooming giving this place...More

It is really a fun thing to visit Bom Jesus. Apart from the religieus history and the pelgrim spot, the park around is beautiful situated. On top of the hill there is a small artifical lake where you can rent a Rowing boat..
