Purchased the hop on hop off 3 in 1 ticket, a bargain for euro 25 per person. Day one we did the funchal tour, earphones provided and every language cateredfor. Very informative. Scenery amazing. You get a great idea of where everything is and how easy or difficult to get back to places you may want to visit. Day 2.... More

We have taken a bus trip before which took in Camara de Lobos but the yellow open top bus takes you to Camara de Lobos and then they have a small mini bus that takes you from there to Cabo Girao.. The return mini bus is about 35 minute wait so gives you plenty of time at the viewpoint. On... More

We used the Yellow buses twice, first around Funchal then up to Camara de Lobos and up to the viewing platform at Cabo Girao . Very good value for money, hopped on and of for 4/5 hours. 3 in 1 ticket 15 euros, very good value for money. The viewing platform alone is worth going to see and stand on,... More

That's the advantage of the 48hr ticket, you have time to get off and see the sites. You can easily spend a couple of hours at Camara De Lobos and the Cambo Girao viewing point. Explore the village, have a meal, a coffee/beer/ice cream, watch the world go by. GET OFF at Pico dos Barcelos, it's a brilliant viewing point.... More

We booked a trip on the blue line of the Yellow bus tours which enabled us to go out to Camara de Lobos with the mini-bus side-trip up to the glass skywalk above the highest cliffs in Europe. At 12 euros a head to go out there, it's quite good and we didn't feel we'd not got value for money... More

€15 for 48 hr pass on "blue" line. Goes to Camara de lobos, small fishing village with a few nice restaurants and bars. Includes minibus connection to Can Girao with glass skywalk at the lookout point over 600m below! Small cafe and toilet facilities there. You can keep an eye on the minibus arrival from the cafe if you want... More

We decided to take the yellow bus tour and bought a ticket for 48 hours which we thought was good value. We stayed on the bus for an hour and a half so that we could get our bearings and decide on our walking route, it was very enjoyable. We decided to take the alternative blue route to Lobos and...
