Very nice to go on a week day, where all small stands are open. On the first floor it is possible to taste an infinite amount of different passion fruit types. Be careful with the price if buying some!! 😅

No. Nearby are many restaurants in a re developed part of old Funchal. You will find plenty of choice along the narrow street that runs up to the fort at Santa Maria.

That's right, Mon-Sat but close at noon on Saturdays.
