Excellent place for walks at different times of the day. Special attention deserves plants. Some of the flowers and plants we know in Europe, but on the Madeira island the same kind of plant looks different.

We loved strolling along this lovely Avenue. First impression like everything else in Madeira it is spotless. Put,s many UK Cities to shame as it is so litter free. Enjoyable walk to cable car Area.

Nice and easy stroll along the front and enjoy the warmth of the morning. The walk is punctuated by some 'unique' art and in a small town like Funchal only takes an hour or so.
