Nice little bar, drinks are cheap and you can smoke inside. Bar staff mostly speak fluent English which is good. I quite like how its got a very chilled atmosphere. Some awful karaoke but other than that spot on.

We came over from England and came to G Point on the first night! Every single night of our holiday we returned to G Point as we were made to feel so welcome by ALL of the staff who greeted us every night and were so kind and helpful even if we had a mini language barrier haha! We absolutely adored the karaoke nights and the DJ was amazing and so friendly! The drinks prices were so good and we felt so at home and the staff did eveything they could to ensure this! I highly recommend you put G Point on your ‘to-go’ list for your evenings out in Funchal! We love and miss you all!…

With outside space, live entertainment, dance music, and cute bar men..... and it’s the only fully gay option on the island. Worth a trashy little visit. And it just turned 1 year old!

We visited here on a fairly quiet Tuesday but they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. We enjoyed a few drinks which weren’t expensive but were delicious.. There is an outside area where you can watch the ‘bar dog’ run around (but don’t let that put you off if you aren’t a dog fan - it ignored us). We also sat inside and enjoyed some great music in comfortable seats. It didn’t really get going till around midnight but it was a Tuesday after all. We can’t wait to visit closer to the weekend. As for covid 19 measures (we visited during a world wide pandemic) everything felt safe and well organised. There is hand sanitiser everywhere and people were wearing masks where appropriate There is a full cocktail menu to dive into or the usual spirits and mixers to enjoy. This is an amazing establishment which was long overdue in Madeira. I encourage everyone to support this establishment! Staff is great, music is nice, atmosphere is nice and drinks are cheap and amazing. Put Gpoint on the map as the only and best gay disco bar in Madeira. Looking forward to visiting again. …
