This is a lovely and semi-picturesque train station, located in the heart of Sintra, which makes it very convenient for a train ride from Lisbon, as it is in the proximity of most other public transport options or tours in the city and area.

The two loop bus lines depart from here and I chose a hotel and restaurant on the same street for convenience. So this station is a good place to be based for touring Sintra's many attractions.

My first impression of Sintra is pretty good after arriving at this small train station. The tile paintings are very colourful and eye-catching. Spend some time to appreciate the beautiful artwork after the tourist crowd rushed to the palaces.

The trip from Lisbon to Sintra was pleasant and to find the small station with its lovely tiles was a nice surprise. Leaving Sintra back to Lisbon can mean a crowded train so don't wait for the last minute to board!!!

We took the train out of Rossio Square to Sintra which is a tourist destination while in Lisbon so be prepared for the crowds during season. Go early as the trains get crowded, then return early to avoid the same. The central town is walking...More

It is a very small station, I did not need to look myself but I would not assume that it had such facilities.
