The building itself is a beautiful one, but unfortunately the square in front of it is one of the best examples of ugly uninspired pieces of modern design (only good for skaters...). It just doesn't go with the monastery at all and nobody really understands...More

This lovely church is a fine example of the use of the unique Arrabida stone. It has a quiet beauty and well worth visiting.

Cloisters inaccessible, this museum is small, some interesting pieces but, as a whole, a little bit disappointing. By the way, the audioguide is useless. No real useful explanation about the showings! Wait till the restoration work is over!

We went here on the 14th July and found out that it had it just been opened to the public on the 20th June! Excellent museum with artifact explanations in English and the adjoining church is exquisite. Well worth an hour or so to visit.
