It's smaller, cozier easier to get a table but lacks nothing in the quality and variety of food and drink. Has a more local feel than Time Out which has become a victim of its own success. It's a way out of the centre but...More
spot with paid parking right next door. public transport by bus or tram. various types of cuisine (tapas, sushi, desserts, burgers, typical Portuguese mini-dishes, tartar) inserted in the normal daily traditional market. average prices. in general sympathy and quality.
We have visited the market a few times now and always find time for a cerveja and café con leite in the MCO Bar which is not as busy as the central communal area. The drinks are good quality and the service is efficient. What's...More
This is the pre cursor to Time out market and is a lot smaller with a much more chilled vibe.

It's hard to tell from google map of how far and how remote this market is. I took the 28E all the way there at night and it was like in the middle of nowhere and I felt lost for a moment. Also the market...More
This was a rainy day destination for us. Great market. Lots of fruits, vegetables, pastries, flowers, fish etc. It wasn’t busy at all when we were there which made it easy to check it all out without any crowds. They have pretty much every kind...More

Excellent Market/Food Court with wide variety of cuisines and beverages. Reasonable prices, excellent food. From Local to Italian to Sushi to Burgers to Steaks to a Raw Bar to Ceviche and much more.
Great atmosphere in it's own right.
Well worth a visit.
Mercado de Campo de Ourique has something for everyone: if you’re hungry or just thirsty; in need of a meal or just a snack; healthy or sweet.
It’s well worth the visit to just stroll around and see what goodies they have to offer.
Very cool looking market were you can eat and buy good local food, drink good vine and bear. Market with soul. Everything is just nice. If you are somewere in that area, you should definitely visit this market.
It is not really a place where you will "get a table". There are many spots to eat and drink something, each with a few chairs. In the central aisle a lot of larger tables. Staying together with 10 people might be difficult... More
It is not really a place where you will "get a table". There are many spots to eat and drink something, each with a few chairs. In the central aisle a lot of larger tables. Staying together with 10 people might be difficult, especially during lunch when it is crowded. Just go there for a few bites and a drink and have lunch/dinner elsewhere if it is too crowded.

we arrived at about 8 and it was busy and people seemed to hold on to their tables for a while. if you arrive earlier I think you would be OK. you may have to join a couple of tables together. I hope you have a good time.
