This is a nice area to walk around for half a day. I was surprised of all the good restaurants in the area.

It's really unexpected. And very easy to get there. Simply the subway. In fact, in 15 minutes from Rossio we got there.Oreinte Railway station, Oceanario, all the buildings there show a very modern face of the city. Must see!

Well laid out lots of shops, restaurants, Aquarium and open spaces on the waterfront. You get good views of the amazing 11 mile ling Vasco Da Gama Bridge. Easy to get to if you go by Metro to Oriente. We went by bus a nightmare...More

It's definitely worth the visit for the architecture, the restaurants, the hustle and bustle and the various sites to visit. Think modern, think futuristic, think outdoor spaces... and then there's the Mall, think jam packed, overwhelming stimulation and multiple food outlets... you might look outside...More

Maybe it's because the tower is being converted into a hotel or maybe because there were no events on when we visited, but I could not warm to this area. You get great views of the Vasco de Gama Bridge, but this can only detain...More

I've been to some of the Expo sites over the years and sadly many of them have been left to fall into a state of disrepair. So Parque das Nacoes was a really pleasant surprise. It's very easy to get to from central Lisbon, just...More

Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s
mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and
structures that once were the home of all the Expo's
attractions and exhibits are still culturally and
artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll
explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping
center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car
ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the
