A small hike up the steps from the main square. It didn't disappoint. Artefacts were remarkable. It's magnificent from ceiling to floor.

Pedro's English language tour was excellent. His extensive knowledge of the church and Portuguese history helped him deliver an excellent guide through São Roque. He was hugely enthusiastic and answered my questions really well.

The church is already a museum on its own, but the accompanying museum was a great addition. Very informative with some beautiful pieces.

Entrance fee €2.50. Collection of items trying to impress onlooker with gold color. Nothing to compare to the next door church art which is stunning. Good for killing the time, unless You are true religious person.
