I went to see Tito Paris and a great band on 21 April. Excellent music, audience young and old, all ethnicities represented, very friendly atmosphere. There is some great confusion about where this place is located because apparently they moved some time ago. The address...More

This is, in my humble opinion, a great place to dance african rhytms (mainly kizomba and semba). On every sunday there is an open level dance class, always taugth by different dance instrutor couples. They also have african music concerts, usually on thursdays. The ballroom...More

Excellent space for dancing African sounds, has a typical african environment, in this case, a mixed respect and glamor but, sometimes very hot. Really like, especially the sound of Cabo Verde (zouk). Well for those who are open-minded and not racist. Really like!

Not as rootsy as previous location, but safer for the authorities I guess. When they are open, there is always a good show. Super well run. AC is too strong to my taste. Africa is not that cold.

Beautiful premises: located right beside the river - while dancing you can close your eyes to the kizomba beat or dance eyes wide open a semba with view on the nightly river!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I am traveling from NS Canada in May and I dance Kizomba, Salsa & Bachata. I heard this club is devoted to these styles of dance. Are there any near-by nice hotels within 5-10 mins from this club? We will be at a conference the remainder of our stay and it is 45-60 mins away. Looking for a reasonably priced hotel near this club for the one night :)
