This museum is about a 15 minute walk from the Belem Tower so you can see both on the same day. The collection of artifacts is really great! Very interesting things. I'm only giving this review 3 star because I felt that the modern barriers...More

We bought a Lisboa card so a visit to the museum was free. It's not very big but has a nice modren exhibition on a region in the Algarve with English explanations. There's also a smaller room, permanent collection I think, called the treasure room....More

I suspect that this is considered a poor relation of the adjacent Jeronimo's Monastery, but we visited today because it was listed in International Day of Monuments & Sites, so was 'free entry'. (Incidentally, the queue for the Monastery was the longest I've EVER seen)....More

The National Archaelogical Museum is co-located at Jeronimos Monastery. It is a small collection of mainly roman and iberian artifacts, and a decent coin/gold collection. If purchased as a joint ticket with the Monastery, it is worth a short visit.
