Nice view, good sangria but very windy

Good stop after a shopping-trip in Lisboa to relax! We had a sangria and enjoyed the great view. Friendly service. Smoking allowed.

After much hunting, on the recommendation of a friend, we found the roof terrace. It has a very beautiful view all over Lisbon. We spent an afternoon drinking gin cocktails, relaxing & enjoying the surroundings - fabulous!

You cannot find a more perfect view. We were lucky enough to hit it on a full moon. The drinks and food were great. Highly recommend the steak sandwich. Easy to find and get to. Excellent service. Don't leave Lusbon without a rooftop view.

Small hotel in the city centre with a beautiful terrace with a view on the castle, the cathedral and the sea. Perfect to have a drink before dinner. Only a warning: a bit expensive for Lisbon

If you are looking to have a beautiful view of Lisbon and just to chill alone (I saw one reading a book for two hours) or with friends (I had the best companion ever), I would definitely recommend you to try the rooftop bar at Hotel Do Chiado in downtown Lisbon. I know it says “Bar” in its’ name, but... More

This hotel has a small terrace where you will find a stunning view of Lisbon. Absolutely beautiful and a nice place to take pictures. We had breakfast here which wasn't good and really overpriced. However the view and the sun make up for the food!

This is a place I often end up visiting when I am in Lisbon. So relaxing. You might encounter many students that come here to learn (free wifi) and only few tourists.

We highly recommend this location because the views from the terrace of the Bar are absolutely fantastic, particularly at dusk or at night, when Lisbon literally is at your feet in this spot. The prices for drinks and 'snack'-food are of course hotel prices, but these views are worth it. The service is unspeakably bad but once you know this... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
