About
As one of Lisbon's oldest markets, Feira da Ladra is held twice weekly at Campo de Santa Clara in Alfama. Traders sell items like blankets, rugs, handmade crafts, and electronics. You can also find clothing, vintage goods, eclectic paintings, and the iconic azulejos (Portuguese tiles). Feira da Ladra is great for snagging good deals among the bric-a-brac and bargaining is possible here. Getting to the market is easy thanks to the yellow Tram 28, which you can enjoy for free with the Lisboa Card. After shopping, you can visit other top sights nearby like the National Pantheon, the Museum of Decorative Arts, or the Santa Engracia Church. – Tripadvisor

Nice market and worth a visit if in Lisbon. Best to get there earlier in the day as it gets busy. I went on a Saturday, but I assume Tuesday's would be slightly quieter. The vintage sunglasses stalls & jewellery vendors were great & reasonably priced. It's quite large market & there's plenty to see, would definitely visit again!

Feira da Ladra - Flea market at Campo de Santa Clara. Opens only on Tuesday and Saturday. If you are in a mood of shopping at the flea market - go for it. Bargain for a better price. You can find many different things. Perhaps something you like it. Old records, tiles, brass fixtures, clothing ...you name it.

What a waste of time going to this place. Looked like everyone was selling their long dead relatives stuff from the loft, or tacky souvenirs. Do not bother going. Went mid week if that makes a difference.

I visited Portugal with my two adult children in this August and while there my daughter wanted to see the well known flee market. After walking around the outside part we then sat down in the cafe inside and stayed for a while enjoying the coffee and pastries. We then proceeded to get to our next destination and when I realized that I was missing my phone. I frantically returned to the flee market, hoping that somebody might had found it. It was a very trying moment since I had all my fond vacation photos and other important info stored on that phone. To my extreme delight I was told by one of the merchants that the phone was found and kept safe with Susanne (I'm sorry if the spelling is not correct) the organizer/manager of the place. She even went the extra steps and called my work at US to let them know that my phone was found and where it was. I'm grateful beyond words for what she did and was very happy to know that there are still very honest people around us. Once again, thank you so much Susanne and the market is definitely a wonderful place to visit, browse, and shop.

Worth a visit even just to stroll round and enjoy the surroundings and atmosphere
Lots of stalls to browse, lots of souvenirs and different items on sale, we left with magnets, bird ornaments and a pair of leather converse to mention a few items.
Similar to a boot sale/flea market

Weather very nice, architecture mainly unremarkable but endless very narrow streets were quaint and enjoyable. Trams were a lovely experience but very disappointing due to being put off by the driver several times, e.g. accidents blocking the route ahead and journey over; HUGE queues at start of route 28; 1 1/4 hour wait and then put off after 5 minutes, or tram not arriving at all; or put off soon after boarding as we boarded unknowingly near the terminus where you must disembark again, and then join yet another queue... New tram out to Belem etc fine but not as nice. Lot of young men (18-40yrs aprx) hanging around day and night with little to do, sometimes intimidating when they stare at you (thankfully we had no crime issues). All unemployed? Footpaths and steps (of which there are many) poorly maintained and frequently dangerous. Endless graffiti lowers the tone. Openly offered cocaine etc on Avenue da Liberdade by some of the aforementioned males with no sign of police. Metro and buses worked well, especially to/from airport. We took a tuktuk tour on last day which turned out excellent. Glad to have visited but in no hurry to return.

Lovely Tuesday morning visit to this beautiful flea market! Thrifting is my favourite hobby and this was my heaven. I wasn't interested in the more expensive vintage stalls, but this place has so many different options. Loved the piles of clothes where I could dig for bargains. Found a genuine leather jacket for 1€!!

Think you need to get here early as many stall holders started to pack up by the time we reached the market in the afternoon. Apart from that the ones that were still open had a good mix of everything, from antiques to general tack.
