For a "dinner theater" (fado) the food and service were very good. The sea bass was excellent, the fish stew very good. All in all, a wonderful way to experience the food and fado of Portugal!!!!

This almost got it right but for a couple of reasons we ended up with mixed feelings. We spent a lot of time researching where to go for fado, as so many places get critical reviews for being touristy and/or expensive. So the good; the...More

we visited four fado clubs on a trip to Lisbon. We loved this one though the night we went in January it was rather quiet and not busy. The singers were intense, beautiful, moved me to tears. It wasn't as high energy or dynamic as...More

Just back from this place Very strange. Lovely reception and staff and nice to experience the Fado BUT the food is dreadful; tome warp 1970s restaurant . Ham with tinned pineapple; mussels like cold school erasers that get stick in your teeth Really quite odd...More

Having never heard Fado being performed live before, it was something I was keen to experience on our visit to Lisbon. I spent much time researching Fado restaurants prior to traveling to Lisbon & after much research ( TA, Time Out, Times etc) , I...More

Please note that two stars that I gave this establishment are for the great music. Otherwise it would have been one. We came to this place around 11:00pm after a great dinner at Bairro do Avillez. We were asked if we would like to have...More

I was part of a large group booking dining at Senhor Vinho. We had been recommended the venue by our agency. Senhor Vinho is a very typical Fado music venue. Fado is a deeply important part of Portuguese culture. Respect is expected whenever a singer...More

This place was suggested by a local acquaintance! My experience with live Fado was limited however it was with great expectations that a group of friends decided to attend. The place is small and simple, but very cosy. The service was good and the food...More

I don't know whom to blame in this case. If you've read my review of Senhor Vinho you know what I think about them - they are not honest. But this time it may be the other company at fault as well. Just accept the loss and... More

I would suggest you don't make a reservation, totally up to you. I would have preferred to dine at a reasonably priced restaurant and followed it up by a fado show somewhere else(such as "Fado in Chiado"). They really push... More
