Central elegant square and affluent area

Nice square and general area between Baixa and Barrio Alto with elegant shops, good restaurants and historical cafe's. A great place for an aperitif before dinner.

Chiado is situated between Baixa and Bairro Alto and is spread around a central square. Great for a stroll if you don't mind the crowds and plenty of places to shop.

We recently had an apartment that over looked the metal lift and the surrounding area was Fantastic. A must visit to walk along and visit during any stay in Lisbon

We stayed in Chiado it is very central and ideal for exploring Lisbon. Its a bit too touristy in parts so best advised to avoid the main street where you will be beckoned in to less than average restaurants

We've visited Lisbon twice and each time found accommodation in Chiado. It's downtown, central and totally conducive to a walking vacation. Everything one needs is within close proximity. Love this area.

If you are in Lisbon you have to go to the Chiado because of the great people watching. Built into a hillside with lots of great but trendy shops this place is where it is happeningin Lisbon

Lisbon has lively districs and Chiado is one of them. Many shops, cafés and restaurants opened until late hours offer a wonderful Portuguese atmosphere for tourists. If you are lucky, you may see and listen local university students performing in the street. This will be a unique experiente!
