Great aquarium! Worth it if you have the time. Really great if you have kids. A little hard to get to and harder to find a taxi going back so we had to take a city bus.

The HUGE central aquarium is viewable from just about everywhere in this stand alone huge Oceanarium. Be sure and check out the public hammocks in the small park that precedes the entrance. Perfect stop to get off your feet for a bit.

I am ambivalent on zoos and animal exhibitions, but because of their conservational approach, I visited this “marine zoo.” Well set-up and not too crowdy when I was there. There’s many nooks and crannies to look into the large aquarium in the middle and there’s...More

Kind of looks like an aircraft carrier. It is huge with more then 450 species and 16,000 individual fish and creatures. You could spend hours in this wonderful place. If you are touring with kids save this for second or third day when they are...More

The Oceanarium has some fantastic exhibits. We especially liked the adorable Penguins, and the glow-in-the-dark jellyfish. Everything was just beautiful.

This is a fantastic acquarium and well Worth the visit. There is now a temporary exhibition by a Japanese environmentalist and artist that is mesmerizing and a must see on the visit. I recommend.

This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s

I'd recommend to buy tickets online. Thus you'll not wait at all. We bought in the evening prior the day we planned to visit Oceanarium and download tickets to a smartphone. On the next day we just passed without any queue.

We only stood in line for about 5 minutes. We got our tickets from a machine on site - it was a shorter line than the personal service ticket windows.
