First of all, our instructor Inga, was great. Great personality and she made the night very enjoyable. The "cooking" part was not as hands on as we have had in other classes like this and based on what we were cooking that may not have been possible. At the end of the night we had a very enjoyable meat and conversation with the group. Just not sure it was worth the cost.

An evening cooking a complete meal, getting to learn easy Portuguese recipes, meeting people, having great wine and, on top of that, an extraordinary chef, what more can you ask for? Awesome evening, loved it.

The Saturday night Cooking Class with Ana Soussa was remarkable. The Cooks & Cork Classroom/kitchen was unbelievably well appointed with the most modern cooking tools and appliances. Ana was sweet, intelligent and highly knowledgeable in cooking techniques, Portugese products and cooking style, and ability to teach with patience.
We had a wonderful time, enjoying conversation, drinking wine and learning about the wonderful cuisine of Portugal.

My Wife wanted to do a cooking class in Portugal while vacationing. She found Cooking in Lisbon and we Booked a class. We were supposed to be in a group class but were but found out we were having a private class instead. Anna our Chef was a very easy person to get along with and we had a fantastic night learning how to cook green soup, chicken sausage breaded meatballs with a mayonnaise dip, salted codfish, and potato string main dish. To top off the meal she showed us how to make a meringue and custard dessert. What a fun night I would recommend trying a class, especially with Anna.

We had a private class with Pedro and it was excellent! We made gazpacho, dinner and dessert. All of the dishes were tasty and Pedro did a great job of being both instructive and incredibly fun and personable. He also helped us adjust the dishes as needed to ensure we were meeting dietary restrictions. Highly recommended!

My sister and I did the pastry class and had a great time! Filipe was a great teacher and super knowledgeable about food and Portugal. We enjoyed cooking and eating all three of the pastries, and we would definitely recommend this class for anyone visiting Lisbon!

Our hotel arranged this evening visit and in hindsight, we should have booked it directly. Our hotel added a service fee that was heavy compared to what is listed here.
The cataplana was an unusual preparation that falls between seafood soup and bouillabaisse. The portuguese style is very comparable but is a quicker solution when you're undertaking this delicious combination of ingredients.
The dessert was an unique and low calorie treatment of whipped egg whites basted in a milk broth, then chilled while the milk thickened by simmering for 20 minutes. These were refrigerated separately and served after the seafood cataplana.

For a delicious & fun evening, try Cook & Corks. It’s a gourmet Portuguese cooking class complete with hors d’oeuvres, a fabulous dinner, beyond-memorable dessert and bottomless beverages.
We were lucky to have Pedro Marques as our chef. He was as entertaining as he is talented, guiding us to prepare our 4 course meal. We intentionally planned it for our first night to get helpful tips and insights about Lisbon restaurants and sights. Highly recommend this for couples, friends and/or families with teenagers. We did a private cooking class 630-930pm but I’m sure the group classes are excellent too.

Luis and Inga created a perfect evening for us, with high attention, love for details and patience for all the questions we had. It starts with an aperitif with wine, olives, bred and oil and some other snacks. Chef Inga is an icon of Portugals warmth and we loved her way aspiring for the real Portuguese kitchen.
