Marta was very accomodating and an accomplished guide.
Meeting was easy with the tour being everything as advertised; we were shown a mix of old and new, touristy and off the beaten track and were surprised how quickly the 3 hrs was over - we could have gone all day.
Very engaging and well worth it, the food was traditional and very tasty, the wine flavoursome and the history engaging.
Thank you, Marta - we’ll send our kids over soon so you can straighten them out!

We had the best day biking and eating our way through Lisbon. Our guide was incredible- she helped our 10 year old maneuver on his bike through some very busy traffic and was extremely patient with him and encouraging. I thought we were in over our head when we saw him practicing in the parking deck but our guide got him up to speed quickly and turned his frustration into confidence. A great memory for our family and special thanks to our guide for making it so enjoyable!!!

We enjoyed this cycling tour from Marques de Pombal through Bairro Alto and other parts with food and drinks on our way. Great tour to start your Lisbon trip! We loved the pasteis da natta. Greetings, Marijke&Hans.

It was our 1st time to Lisbon and wanted to see as much of Lisbon as we can through the eyes of a local. We chose this tour as it offered us the chance to see more on a bike than walking & combining it with a taste of local food simply made it irresistible.
We were meant to be a group of 5, however the rest of the group did not show. Fortunately for us, it became our private tour. Martha our guide was the best! She was patient & reassuring as I was not a confident road biker. She lead us on a pace that was comfortable. Most of the ride was down slope except for a few spots that we had to work a little harder.
We had a total of 4 stops. After a short ride, we stopped for a drink at Bairro Alto (hope I got the place right). It was a perfect place to stop as the view was fantastic. Next, we headed for some authentic local food at back alley restaurant where locals eat. Martha ordered so many dishes, we had trouble finishing them.
With a full tummy, we continued on our bike towards the beach before turning back towards city centre fir our 3rd stop.
Here we had the famous Ginjinha, a cherry liquor. This was fuel as Martha puts it for us to continue to our last stop.
She took us to the best pastel de nata shop in Lisbon! We have tried a few different ones as well as the original Pastel de Belem, but this to my humble opinion was the best!
After the sugar rush, we had to push on back to our start point to end the tour.

Martha was very knowledgable & shared many stories & histories at every stop. She was generous in the provision of food & drinks. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone that would like a taste of Lisbon on wheels.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this bike tour with Marta! We were lucky enough to be the only 2 so it was a private tour!! Marta is very knowledgeable in an interesting way! I haven't been on a bike in years but Marta put me at ease and was very attentive the whole way. Also, she made sure the restaurant was aware of my daughters gluten and dairy intolerance and they were so helpful there! I would definitely recommend this tour!

I went on this wonderful tour with my mom and brother, it was our second day in Lisbon and this was the perfect tour for us! Our guide, Marta, was born and raised in Lisbon and told us all about the history of the city as well as what it is like to live there now. She was extremely friendly and brought us to local places where we ate delicious Portuguese food, if you want to immerse yourself in the culture with a local I definitely recommend this tour!

My cousins and I had an absolute blast on this tour. Our guide Marta was so fabulous, knowledgeable and loved to laugh with us as well. The food was outstanding and the sites amazing. Ya can't beat the trill of biking through a city you don't know, eating food you just can't get enough of. I can't say it enough: DO THIS TOUR!

My four friends and I did this tour on our first day in Lisbon. I have done a lot of bike tours as it's one of my favorite things to do to kick off a trip in a new city. Marta was amazing and patient - not everyone was great on the bike but she gave us a lot of time in the garage to get comfortable and assured us that we could stop at any time and walk for a while if we felt uncomfortable. I mostly give the tour four stars because I don't think that Lisbon is the best place to do a bike tour - there aren't really any bike lanes, there are a few hills, and traffic is just not used to people on bikes. This tour just didn't feel as leisurely as other ones I have been on. If you are going to do a tour in Lisbon, I definitely recommend Marta, just know that the tour will not be as easy and relaxed as in other cities.
