This is a beautiful church located in the center of LIsbon. Some people confuse it with Fatima, but this one is just a church in honor of our lady of the rosary. It is beautiful and has a peaceful feeling.

I'm not the religious type but I do have a spiritual side and I'm respectful of everyone's personal choice of worship

With that said you should visit regardless of your choice of religion.

It is something to see in person people young and old paying their respect by completing a long path walking on their knees outdoor in the heat as a personal sacrifice for their prayers to be answered (this was my understanding) we went on a Sunday and mass was being held outside.
Their courtyard is larger than the one at the Vatican and I'm sure it gets full on special dates.
My one wish is that the museum would be open but apparantly it's always closed.

I visited on a tour of Lisbon. This has a beautiful square and church buildings. We went to the old village first and saw the houses that the children lived in. Then to this church. Everywhere you looked was shops and bars, there were hotels and apartments. Very sad that a religious site is exploited. Would not return

A holy place of pilgrimage and of utmost important to the Catholics worldwide, this complex has several religious Buildings ie The Sanctuary of The Lady of Fatima, Bascilica of the Holy Trinity, The Great Oak Tree, Chapel of apparitions, and a piece of the Berlin wall. Plus other buildings.
A must visit place for all Catholics .

I spent five days in an Air B&B near Sao Sebastian station and this lovely little church became my ‘local’.
Mass every day at 9am and even though I have no Portugese language I felt quite at home. Five weeks previously I’d walked the Fatima Camino from Lisbon enroute to Santiago. Fatima had the most profound effect on me. It’s way to easy to get distracted by the crass commercialism surrounding Fatima and miss the message.

Visited fatima on a day trip from lisbon.Pretty amazing experience all round.Love the fact that commercialism is kept well away from the whole site. The sort of place where if you believe the story of Fatima then you really can make a difference to your life for the better and therefore those around you.

We booked a tour going from Lisbon to Fatima. The place is large, actually quiet for this time of the year. We did stop by a wholesale place to buy souvenirs before entering Fatima, so that was good.

Always wanted to make this trip, was not disappointed, had a fantastic day, attended an open air mass in Chinese, did not understand what was being said but felt moved. lite some amazing candles, very peaceful. if you walk into town you will see an open square with lots of religious gift shops, we brought 10 rosary for price of one from the posh looking shops

Most people would be visiting the old churches of Lisbon, but this modern church is well worth a visit, it is dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima.
