This is one of those things you just need to go and see if you're visiting anywhere in the area. The views are spectacular and well worth the visit. We stopped here in the late morning in early September and did not find it too windy - although I have been to Cape Spear a few times, which is the... More

This is a beautiful and very rugged spot with sheer cliffs dropping down to the sea affording the most wonderful vistas of the Atlantic ocean. If you are in the area it is a must visit.

it's SO windy! we went around the 20th of september and it was pretty cold, and really really windy. the view is amazing! there's a restaurant, but it only sells sandwiches..not very good ones. We had a sandwich there to wait for the sunset, which was really cool! it's an interesting place

Westernmost point on the continental Europe! I can´t explain why exactly but I really loved this place. Its atmosphere, the view of the ocean and the lighthouse in distance. Really windy there.

Amazing Place. Some 20 kms from Sintra ( 30 Minutes drive). The views are spectacular and the fact that you are standing at Europe's Western most point is a thrill in itself. There are trails where you can walk and capture the lovely views. The trails are laden with stones, shrubs. Would recommend to get shoes.

If you are in Lisbon, Portugal you should visit this place! where ends europe! This is a beautiful place, little be hard to get there by public transport but it's ok, if you want... my advice, on the way you will see city Sintra which is nice to see, and if you have time you should to see them too.

Standing on the top of Cabo da Roca, you understand your nothingness and greatness of the nature at one moment. This is an incredible feeling. High waves, very strong wind (it will be good to wear a jacket and a scarf). 40-50 min by bus on serpentinous road... but, believe me, Cabo da Roca worth to visit and to see... More

One of the best sunset venues...small crowd, plenty of parking, and a glorious view. A truly memorable experience.

It's easily reachable from Sintra (take bus 403 infront of Sintra train station, ticket is 4,10€ in one way, the ride takes about 45min). It was nice, you can only see lighthouse from outside, a monument. And you can expect a lot of tourists, but you can say that you have been on the western point of continental Europe.
