This is a beautiful beach in the Cascais area near the train station, I would say it’s a small beach with calm, clean but cold waters. This beach is shared by tourists and locals. The beach also has good facilities: bathrooms, showers, a beach bar, restaurant and parasols to rent. For me I loved the caves and rocks and the Rua Frederico Arouca street near the beach is full of bars and restaurants and souvenir shops.

Fabulous serviced beach in Cascais. Plenty of facilities and from here you can enjoy a stroll to Estoril along the coastal path which follows the sea walla for around 3 kilometres. Bars and restautants plentiful....

Probably the most popular beach in town being very busy especially with the younger generation. Flanked by restaurants and plenty of activities

One of the biggest if not the biggest beach in Cascais, very clean and safe just a short walk from the train station.

We visited for the day from Lisbon and this beach was perfect. Nice and clean, with a lifeguard, a bar and toilet available, plus only a couple of minutes to the more traditional (no Irish bars!) side of town. The sea was freezing but our taxi driver said it was warmer later in the year. Would recommend!

I was amazed how clean the beach was!

I went there late afternoon and it was still busy. There was a very friendly vibe to the beach area.

A tip for those who will visit: use the 15-euro regional train/bus combo from Lisbon and either go Cascais-Cabo da Roca - Sintra or vice versa!

We came for the day from Lisbon which I think took about 30min getting off a the last stop on leaving the train station we went left and headed down the main drag which was full of restaurants of all types looked fantastic almost as if it was off the west coast of California!
There’s also a large supermarket at the station if you forgot your sun cream or hat!
To get to the beaches when you come out of the station turn right as if heading back in the direction of the train. You will come across the first beach, this is lovely and the one you see empty in all the lovely photos. We got there in the afternoon and it was absolutely packed. However on our way we had been given good advice by a local who said to get off at the station just before the end and walk along the shore to pick your beach! All the tourists go to the first 2, wished we had listened as we ended up going to the last beach where the Station is , loads of restaurant and toilets near all of them , one beach is full of Little Rock pools but in my opinion if the little kids are going climbing make sure you all wear surf shoes or similar. All the beaches were lovely but try to arrive early. Would definitely come back to the whole area again

The beach is accessible by wheelchair and there is a special service for disabled people: An area with wooden floor where you can put the wheelchair and people that provide assistance. They set up a sunbed for you free of charge and also help you into it. They also have a special trolley for helping you into the water. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Similar services are available in several other beaches in the area. The beach promenade is accessible by wheelchair, but the street is cobbled and thus, somewhat uncomfortable to roll on. Many of the restaurants are not accessible, but some are.

This is one of the most popular beaches in Cascais. Very clean and popular with families as many water attractions. Council maintains it every morning at 6 a.m
