A fabulous view of the Cascais shoreline, beach, and fort. Service was prompt and efficient. There is only a small menu, and one is paying for the outdoor venueand views. Try the chicken salad - better than the tuna salad.

Nice and quiet but check water temperatures before you go. If you’re used to Mediterranean beaches, this might be too cold. If you just want to linger in the sun and maybe sip your toes into the water every once in a while it’s alright I guess. An umbrella and two lounge chairs cost 30€.

Cascais boasts a number of really fine sand beaches, lots of space for lots of people. Please go there if you feel like socializing…
This little gem, on the other hand, should be kept af secret - except among the very few guests of Cascais that prefer privacy and a quiet swim in calm waters.
So, please - hush!

Too many people.
There's no room to stretch a towel.
Sand full of cigarettes, plastic, and shit.
Water of poor quality, with plastic bags and other shit boiling.
Bad environment where groups settle on top of other people.
Garbage boxes full to overflow.

Better than others, but overrated. The only beach around Cascais with some shade. No restroom, no changing room, no real amenities the beaches in civilized countries typically provide. Ice cold water even in August, with 38C ambient temp.
It really is not worth the hassle...

You can walk along the coast, from beautiful beach, to the next beautiful beach. Fantastic promenade , I walked from Estoril to Cascais every day. There are some amazing photo opportunities and lovely restaurants on the way. Very clean beaches .

This is a beautiful place. Located in a cove right in the centre of beautiful Cascais. A tiny beach limited on both sides by rocks that give a beneficial shade. This pretty beach is a very popular place for locals and tourists alike. A very nice beach in the center of a charming town. Just in time for a short rest.

It's about a 35-40 minute train ride from Lisbon's Cais do Sodre. It costs about €4.10 for a return journey. It's a wonderful beach with great amenities, bar, take away food and toilets. There are a few activities along the beach too, inflatable floating assault course and pedal boats. Lots to keep the kids (adults) amused.

Rainha is a small beach close to the shops in Cascais. Perfect soft sand, crystal clear water and caves & rockpools to explore.
Whilst we were there in August it was very busy, but with people quietly sunbathing & swimming - it's not a party or ball games beach.
Just to the right of the beach is a little cove, where you can swim with the little fish under the cliffs.
There is also a small beach bar (expensive, but nice) and clean toilets.

Da Lisbona in auto: è meglio andare sulla A5 seguendo le indicazioni per Cascais. In treno: dalla stazione Cais do Sodré prendere la Linha de Cascais.
