As the name perhaps suggests this is an old chapel that has been converted into a concert venue and restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot comment of the food since I had already eaten when I got there at 10:00 at night for the beginning of the...More

This was a very enjoyable evening. The venue is in an old church and is small and intimate. Drinks are available to buy and I believe one drink comes with the admission fee. I see other people mention eating here but no one did that...More

Overpriced mediocre food, indifferent fado, and a contemptuous attitude from the owner. Try the place in front of the Catedral Velha instead. Or, if you are a fadista de coraçao, go to Senhor Vinho in Lisboa instead.More

Maybe a tad expensive but very well worth it. The show is excellent, with the necessary explanations. Food is very great, as well as the selection of drinks.

Cry lovely chapel with great acoustics for fado. The show is approx 1 1/2 hours and a lighters can be had. Coimbra dado is very sad and meow compared to fado from lisbon but still a must see at least once.

aCapella is a small club which offers Fado performances at regular intervals. Our Hotel Oslo concierge recommended this place...and WE LOVED it! A cross between blues/jazz/opera and classical (and Portuguese) guitars....we had a truly wonderful time!!
