Be sure to stop by this church to see the gorgeous architecture outside and grandeur inside. It's close to the cruise terminal and along the way to the city gate.

Beautiful architecture, typical azorean church. Not too special but worth the visit since it's next to the city gates.

I do not know the current times for mass. Visiting (hours) times:Monday-Saturday are 7:30 to 19:00. Sunday, 7:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00. The church does not close for holidays or other reason.

Does the church have baptismal documents available for review by the public? My grandfather was born near this church in 1901 and I would like to research any records that may be available. Thanks.
