The extent of my love of cheese involves me waking up in the middle of the night for a cheese snack and then going back to bed.
If there was a time portal in my fridge that i could walk through and end up anywhere in those moments, this would be the shop.
It has a range of cheeses, lovely bread including the soft muffin goodness of BOLO LÊVEDO and an extensive liquor selection you can try outside. My partner in crime took a shot of nearly all 15 bottles for free but the place has such a good vibe that we were compelled to spend money on more cheese and pineapple liquor then an army of spartan mice could eat.

The shop could do with more chocolate - chocolate and cheese? Come on! A minor gripe for a friendly establishment that relies on word of mouth and has a constant queue of locals and tourists buying the stuff that will turn your arteries into liquid camembert. Mmmm. Going to pray to Mickey for that time portal.

The cheese they offer here is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and will let you try plenty of cheeses and will even recommend some if you're not sure what you want. The store also offers desserts, bread, jams and honey, and wine/liquor!

The best azorean cheese you can find in the azorean islands.
All kind of cheese from all the islands.
The best part is that you can taste all of it *

We bought cheese here - tasty and at reasonable price. We also randomly bought some sweet pastry, which was delicious and only 50 cents a piece...

If you want to buy some fresh or cured local cheese then this is the shop to go to. With welcoming staff and the chance to try each and every one of the numerous varieties of cheese in the shop. Just take in consideration that you must come early in the day because it as a lot of movement from locals and turists,

Definitely a stop to make. This is where you get your cheese at cheep prices. Good cheese with a variety that will blow your mind. The staff will give you a tasting and orientate you according to your likes. You can also buy bread, liqueurs, biscuits and other local treats

On the corner of the Mercado this store was busy on a Monday when everything else was quiet. Large selection of cheeses available. Interesting to look around at some local produce.

I highly recommend. Great cheeses and you can taste the cheeses before you buy. They also have queijadas, jams, wines and other goodies. They are in a great location right next to Mercado da Graça.

Local site in the structure of the Point of Sale da Graça, rich in typical products of the Azores from wine to cheese, with great prices
