Took a tour here and learned about the hot springs and walked around the lovely area. We also went to an area on top of a hill that had a magnificent view.

Loved eating the meal cooked at the hot springs. Visited the spot where the restaurant cooked our meal for 7 hours in a pot in the ground. A unique experience and the food was great.

We stayed at Hotel Vale Do Navio. Not Luxurious but with a small normal outdoor Swimming pool and friendly Service personnel plus a good Restaurant!

It is on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. We flew directly from England but I understand there is a flight to Ponte del Garda ( the capital ) from Faro. Furnas is about a 40min taxi ride away from that airport. Well... More
