As we were staying in horta marina we wandered through a few times. Lots of great graffiti! Really gives a feel of being in a mix of visitors. You can spend 5mins reading the marks left by sailors and the adventurous before they leave for...More

Well kept clean Marina, pleasant to wander around to view boats and mosaic walls of painting left by boat crews on their journey. A bar offers outside seating, with coffee, drinks and simple food. Next door to the bar is a launderette which also offers...More

Spent a couple hours leisurely walking the pier and seeing where sailing visitors have come from to Horta. Some are cleverly painted, other whimsical. Even saw one being painted.

This beautiful old marina offers everything you would exspect to find there and more! Captains of ships from long ago use to paint murals for safe voyages and still today this ever changing landscape carries on the tradition!

Arrived tired and hungry. Marina staff quickly checked my yacht in. Very courteous and efficient. The staff had good suggestions for food and beer. The Marina is very safe. Beautiful paintings on the concrete sections. Peter's Cafe Sport looks over where I was penned.

The drawings from boats passing through are very interesting, but apart from that it's just a Marina. The Marina cafe isn't much, although the member of staff was quite friendly. The facilities for visiting yachtsmen are clean, but very basic. Not the worst Marina I've...More

Harbour with yachts that will make the crossing. All that is happening in Horta is happening in the marina. Their are some bars (simple but nice) for nice and cheap drinks. Also most of the hotels are around the marina. It's fun to look and...More
