Was recommended this market which is on every Saturday on a visit to Albuferia. It was about a 10 minute walk from the bus drop off point through some very quaint streets to the Market. It is filled with farmers with their local, fresh produce...More

Great little market. A mix of fresh fruit & veg, fish & local producers of spices, alcohol, etc. A few butchers scattered about too. Also some nice non-food items, great for holiday gifts & I got a great leather belt that was a total bargain....More
Really worth a look, a great selection of seafood and butchers, a vast display of locally made goods from leather belts, clothes, table clothes, souvenirs etc. Port and other drinks too, recommend a slow stroll through.
Visited on a week day (apparently on Saturdays its heaving ) lots of fresh food and the usual cork and linens on sale plus lots of spices . lovely little cobbled streets and shops with various hand made items and artists with paintings etc.
We visited on a Saturday morning in August. It was busy with both locals and tourists but worth the trip. The market is fresh produce and local wine etc with a few souvenirs and then there are local shops and cafes outside the market area....More
On a Saturday morning it is a lovely market, with loads of fresh produce. However, if you do not like the smell of fish be weary of going inside. Down the cobbled streets there are loads of lovely little stands with pottery etc on them.
Was a little sceptical about what to expect here, but wasn’t disappointed. The market is divided into sections, and there is plenty on offer. Lots of handmade goods and fresh produce. You can certainly grab a bargain here. Would come again!
