When you walk into Lagos in the evenings you can sit here and be entertained by musicians,singers,artists and of course you can people watch till well into the night and feel safe

I thought to start with that it was a tailor's dummy on a plinth but looking closer it was much more substantial. Represential sculpture leaves me cold

Walking around Lagos I came across this open square (where the tourist office was) and in the middle was this statue... looked a bit out of place to be honest, but it's there for a reason so take it at it's face value and enjoy...More

A busy part of the shopping area, where you cross the road to the marina and the market stalls. If parking near here, make sure you buy a ticket, as the wardens are around all the time.

Seems a bit out of place to have a modern art sculpture in the old town square but somehow it works and if nothing else it is an attention grabber.

Spent an hour or two most days in this atmospheric town square. Restaurants and shops all around. Good food in the restaurants with street musicians providing entertainment.

A landmark of "fantasy" located in the central square of Lagos .... an ideal location to meet. Lots of coffee shops in the vicinity, and the towns shopping centre
