Perfect for a calm day at the beach. You get a speedboat or catamaran to the island and you can spend a perfect day at the beach. Also nice food in the only restaurant on the island.

Went there with the ferry from the doc. Only 30 minuets, and absolutely worth the 10€. We walked around the hole island, and it took really long time, it never stopped. Really beautiful. There’s one restaurant/snack bar, but it’s quit expensive.

Can only get there by boat.. Which you obviously have to pay for. In my opinion not worth it. Go to farobeach in stead. Long walk on the island too..

Weather is fine and warm, water is cool, calm and inviting. Pristine beach to relax on, in an environmentally sensitive area that welcomes day visitors. Travel by the ferry from Faro harbour for a pleasant 40 minute ride through the wetlands.
