Stroll around the small cobbled streets of this town with loads of character, many of the "ancient" buildings now converted into places to eat/drink.

Beautiful place to visit. Not too big, and easy to get around. The land train is a great way to relax and take in the sights.

Beautiful scenery but very quiet. Not much to do so off you go for an afternoon drink. Good for strolling but the daytime did not have much to do.

Old town is quite beautiful even though not so big. Can check main places during one day. Anyway, it's the place where I recommend to go to walk around.

What a splendid gem in Faro’s crown. Well worth spending time to mooch. Although every point of interest has it’s own entry fee. This area is being tastefully and carefully restored. Recommended.

You can easily walk from the train station & bus station to the Marina & old town. The old town is not huge so is very doable on a day trip.
