gr8 during day for drinking eating and lots of gift shops, at night time it takes on a whole different experience, its more geared up for younger party goers. With karaoke live entertainment lots of drinking games going on till the early hours

Had been to the Strip quite a few years ago when my family were younger. Visited again going on a quick break with a friend. It certainly has changed, it is a bit too noisy for me now but for younger people it could give them a good night out.

Noisy, brash and loud, The Strip is busy and packed with bars, restaurants, nightclubs, tattoo parlours and tourist shops. The tourist train stops near The Strip offering a convenient way to connect it to the rest of Albufeira. Maybe one for the younger crowd.

We try to avoid the strip when in Albufeira. If you want bars and drinking this place is for you but if you want scenic small cafes and restaurants then stay away. Better shopping and eating in other areas.

The strip wasn't too busy this time of year, but later very noisy and older people may not like it. It's certainly not to be missed for younger people.

Hate to say this, but this place (street) is like my worst nightmare. Cheap food with waiters trying to get you into their establishment, hassled by shop staff wanting you to buy the same 'tat' that all the other shops lined up next to each other, as you walk past, and then asked if I wanted to buy some drugs,... This typical resort strip is built around a long street which heads down to the sea at a small but very picturesque bay with a clean sandy beach and wonderful eroded rock scenery, a must to visit if you holiday here. If it isn't quite beach weather, a daytime visit to "The Strip" gives a chance to explore bars, restaurants,... More
