I visited Xflo in July of 2018 with friends. I am a competent surfer and decided to try the Xflo one morning. As you can see from the pics I ended up with a very bad injury as the machine was not being used in the correct manner by the staff,I ended up sliding feet first into the jets and splitting my foot wide open, I have video and images to prove this. While the staff on the day took me to the hospital (as they should) their senior managers and their legal representatives have ignored all correspondence since then to discuss safety concerns and compensation and this is why I feel you the public need to know how dangerous this machine is before you or your children decide to try it. Stick to the beach, its a lot safer!!…

We had to wait a half an hour for 4 drinks while we were the ONLY ONES there. On the other hand the drinks were delicious and had plenty of alcohol in ‘em. We had mojito’s, a caipirinha and a wine. If you have tons of time this is a great place but you don’t have to expect the best service. People were rude and slow.…

My husband and I went with our 11 and 7 year old daughters (6 yrs is the youngest age or 1.2 metres). We really enjoyed the whole experience. Our female instructor was amazing. Our youngest was a little nervous, but with some gentle encouragement from the instructor she was on and loving it. Both girls had a bit of a bump and the instructor was so caring and supportive, as were the bar staff. Despite their little bumps both our girls want to go back, and so do we.…
