As part of the cathedral tour the museum provided some great detail as well as artefacts from the different periods. Paintings, vestments, sculpture and more.

Lots of stuff here, but none of it is very memorable and the display is a hodgepodge, so we rushed through it. Not worth a lot of time, but OK

The museum is included within the Évora Cathedral complex and includes an impressive sacred art collection. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in history, whether or not your religious.

Loved the reliquary with 1000+ gems and ivory Mary statue. The space is made up of monks' rooms, making it an interesting place to view art work.

Maybe I'm just growing tired of sacred art but i really didn't find this museum that special. The collection isn't that large, comprehensive or special. Just another sacred art museum.

Many wonderful pieces from different periods, well kept, in a good site. Religious objects, statues, paintings of rare beauty and exceptional quality. Worth going, not to miss!
