A small park filled with flowerbeds with views of the roman temple one way and views over the wall to the Alentejo countryside the other way. A perfect spot to take in the sunset and marvel at the wonders Evora has to offer

This very pretty square is one of the centers of town and you will probably come here. Unfortunately the fabulous Roman ruin was covered for restoration while we were there. Cafes and museums surround.

If you're looking to take a break after walking through Evora there aren't too many better spots that this garden. Most of the benches are shaded and have great views of the temple. You're also perched high on top of Evora's outer wall.

Nice for a break - there is a cafeteria inside - and also I saw at least 10 peacocks too - making a lot of noise as they do but also part showing off their beautiful feathers.

The park overlooks the city and provides a great view. You can see the Aqueduct out to the left. The park is a tranquil spot and there is a food kiosk that has reasonably priced sandwiches, toasts (paninis), empanadas, etc.
