Throughout our journey of Portugal we saw many lovely churches and cathedrals. However this is one both my wife and I loved. The worship area was beautiful and peaceful but it also had the addition of the cloisters which as most cloisters was peaceful and serene. The cloister was unique because of the tiled walls which gave it a very... More

The cathedral is impressive from the distance and in its interior, and it's the most interesting monument of the city, but there are some details to improve. The stairs to the terraces (wonderful views of the building, the cloister and the city) is extremely narrow and without any organization... open the second one on the other tower would be perfect...... My wife and I visited Evora today. A tour of the Se Catedral was very nice and we thought it was worth paying a couple of extra Euros to also tour the palace. We had lunch at the cafe that is right next to the stairs that lead up to the palace tour. The cafe was nice and we enjoyed... More

We enjoyed our visit to the Se de Evora. The walk on the rooftop was unique. Great vistas of the city and countryside. Beautiful church and cloister too. Glad we did it!

For 4.5 Euros you get to visit everything (cathedral, cloister, terrace and museum, and you should. The views of the top of the cathedral from the terrace are wonderful and the cloister's space with its orange trees is very nice as well. The museum is also worth a quick look.

Great church with a lots of history. Very nice stain glasses, and lots of history. The only negative part was that you have to pay to visit.

I bought the 4.5€ ticket that gets you into all parts of the cathedral including the Tower (a long way up a steep flight of stairs) which leads you to the roof where you have great views of Evora, the cloister, the museum and the church itself. I enjoyed the visit and learned about Evora. In addition there is a... More

Typical grand Catholic cathedral. However they do charge admission unlike many others, so unless you have never seen a Catholic cathedral in Portugal, you may not bother.
