We made a quick visit here while walking around the town. Lots of interesting ruins to see. Good town to stop on your drive to Madrid.

You can get to the roof top and climb the towers for fabulous views of Evora. A lovely cloister and museum.

Well worth going for the whole deal, the roof visit is great, but very narrow staircase to the top. The main cathedral is outstanding.

The guard here was quite rude giving the start of our visit a bad flavor. The whole place has the feeling of a for-profit business more than a holy cathedral. It is worth visiting but a lot less than what we had expected.
