The roof is spectacular

The entire place is really interesting but the roof is open to the public and worth the climb. The catacombs and church are lovely. A guided tour would be helpful.

Built in the early 1500s it is a very rare example of Mannerist architecture in Portugal. You cannot visit inside, but the façade is worth the visit.

Marvellous facade, bit run down and portico full of pigeon guano and what smelled like human P** Pity one can't visit the interior, although much may have been dismantled.

We wandered past this old church and were struck by the strange and different exterior. Rather grotesque men statues on the top. Interesting.

The inside of the church itself may not be accessible, but the outside is still worth a look. And, to the right of the church is a building that is open to the public. Previously used by the military, the public can walk into the large sitting room, around the first floor courtyard and get a peak into a day... More

Only saw it from the outside. The facade is okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Just another church.

Evora has so many churchs, this one is an architetural masterpiece, unfortunaly it was closed to visitors at the time. Go and see!

Kind of an ugly exterior - mixture of different styles. As well, how do you find the entrance and is there an entrance? Give this a miss.
