We stopped by on a whim I didn't know there was Fall Family Fun Day going on it looked like a nice time but tickets were needed even if you just want to walk around - if the cost was more reasonable to do that we would have paid it. I think you have to get the tickets from their website. There was a stand selling pies, wine, apples, etc. outside the area where tickets were required. Their wine is delicious I've had it in the past. Left disappointed but my bad for not checking their website first. Also, be aware parking on the grounds is rough in some areas..there was a big mud hole in the middle of the access to an exit but it is a farm after all.

Worked with sales team and they left much to be desired! Did not return emails or phone calls and overcharged at every opportunity! Came early just to set up my event and they charged me $150 for being onsite prior to event. Meanwhile when I came not one thing had been set up that I was told would be ready. We still enjoyed our event but that was inspite of the staff. Do not recommend!

When we went (late September) most of the eating apples had been picked (the ones with the signs and circled on a provided map), leaving just baking apples and smaller ones. True, sometimes you pick one and another falls to the ground, but it was very frustrating trying to find good-sized eating apples to fill even a small bag. Not worth the $9 for a small bag. The Fall Festival was worth the money, though, with lots of activities for the kids. Just wouldn't come back for the apple picking.

The best and essential part of the farm experience-apple picking in the fall-is now just one more cash gouging enterprise for Terhune orchard. You can’t pick apples by the pound. Everyone has to have their own bag. $9 for about 3 pounds of apples. Just embarrassing.

I’ll find another orchard

Kite making just fair, young helper didn't know how to make it & adult helper came over to advise, was able to fly kite, but used about 50 cents of plastic with tape & string, so basically a throw-away after that day.

The free event of sheep shearing was interesting for all. Would have liked to know what they did with the wool, was no discussion about that. So could have been better.

pony ride $10.00 for about 10 feet--rip off, Should NOT invite that stable back, Money taker was unfriendly & a bit rude, all about the money & no info at all about where to wait in line or how to assist little riders.

My 4 year old granddaughter enjoyed her day, me not so much. So for the $50.00 it cost to get in(I booked online), kite making & pony ride, it was all total a huge RIP-OFF. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND AND ON THE CONTRARY WILL ADVISE ALL I KNOW TO AVOID. IT IS REALLY SAD AS THIS TYPE OF FARM SHOULD BE A GREAT PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY. BUT VERY GREEDY OWNNERS RUNNING INTO THE GROUND.

3-5yr play area-good, music good,

Very rude employee walk up to us and ask what kind of service dog is that your walking and I said her here is her card that state she is a support service dog she said get her back to your car now. Well she steps way out of line and I am report her tomorrow and never ever stepping foot on there property again . Dont bother going to an orchard that hates animals so much.

I have been going here to pick empire apples for several years. I gladly paid the per pound plus price. I would leave with 2 reusable tj Maxx shopping bags ( the huge kind that you pre purchase at the store for 99 cents) with sometimes as much as 60 plus pounds of apples at roughly a cost of 80 something dollars. Due to covid they are selling by their own bags..no weighing the bag. The large bag was 26 dollars and fit 35 apples roughly. We had to purchase three of them . I can tell you when we returned we combined all the apples into one large tj. Maxx bag with room to spare. 78.00 for half the amount of apples. We all are hurting with Covid..but there is a difference between taking advantage of your customers being fair. The large bag is so small it's ridiculous. If I was paying 1.79 a pound last year...actually I think it was more like 1.59 a pound then this year I is running us close to 3.00 a pound.I used to live this place. Take a picture of my face ..you won't be seeing it again.

My children and I have been going to this farm since their were 3 years old. This year was the worst. This used to be a great family experience. just a family place to spend the day with you children. NOW it just a Bust. use to be able to get a bag or some bags, and pick as many apples as you wanted, and pay at the end by the pound. This year each person had to purchase a bag. $13 for what they called a medium bag and $26 what they called a large bag. when I tell you in the medium bags you can only fit about 7 apples in each bag, VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED Because I spend so much money for the bags I refused to go over to the store area a buy anything else, you had to pay for that area as well. JUST SO SAD THAT ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES TO GO, HAS GONE CRAZY. WE WON'T BE BACK

This review is based on us going there and deciding not to go in. So it does not fully reflect their offerings. Different from most other pick your own orchards you have to pay by the bag to enter. We like to look at what is there to first decide what to pick. The prices in the store were twice what we see in other stores and offerings. This is just a first impression.

Terhune produce is always fresh, always good. I buy year round and am never disappointed. Every season they have a nice variety of produce to choose from.
