Firstly a great thankful to the owner and creator of the park. Its very good for those who wanted to know about some traditional values. The trip to Mr. Varkey's park was well worth the effort. More than the animals in the park, the trees that Mr. Varkey has grown are the most interesting.

We went to this place in May..during the rains ! This is a must-visit place for someone who comes over to chalakudy to see the natures wonder in the name of Athirapilly falls..!! Some distance away , tucked in a small "village" is Kauthuka park. Mr Varkey runs this place. He takes us through the park and explains each and... More

Thanks to Mr.Verky, My kids had a great time with the birds and animals in the park. Worthy way of spending time for families.. The park is very creatively constructed with all the waste materials . A mandatory concept for future generations......

Great initiative and a very great place for an outing with Kids. Mr. Varkey and family have taken great pain to build and maintain the park. All the animals are let out free. I went with my family including 2 kids and we all enjoyed every moment of it.

The owner of the park has tried to achieve balance where animals move freely in natural surroundings. There are a few animals along with man made caves and fish ponds scattered all over . The park is covered in shade by the various trees and plants. There are a lot of shortcommings, and the whole experience leaves you disillusioned.
