Having booked too late to get on the tour I wanted I was a little sceptical, however our guide soon put that to rest, Phillip was excellent, incredibly knowledgeable and funny in the right places.

I did not do this but would recommend it for persons interested in WWI history. It covers sites that would be interesting to see and the honors it bestows on the war dead

Fantastic half day tour. Jaques is amazing ; knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about all things WW1. Visited 7/8 different sites over 4 hours, but never felt rushed. Came away feeling as if we had learnt plenty. Best thing we did in Ypres. Highly recommended.

Better than going solo. You get the in depth stories along the way. This makes the experience more poignent and thpught provoking

Although we will not be touring Belgium, except for Bruges (2 nights) and Brussels (1 night )on our way to Amsterdam by train, we will be driving through France with a stayover at Caen (2 nights) as we also intend to visit the D Day beaches. Before that, we will be in Paris for 3 nights. Can we access the major battle sites of the First World War , especially those with an Australian connection from Caen (by car) and/or from Paris (no car) as we are there longer? We will be in Paris & Caen in late May this year. What could we do comfortably in a half day or even full day if we want to? What costs are involved?
