Smaller than some of the nearby cemetries, this immaculately kept resting place provides a shocking memorial to those who fell hereabouts. Shocking not just in the total numbers but also in the number of anonymous graves "a soldier", "known to god" typical of the inscriptions...More

These cemeteries are so moving and make you stop and remember all those men and boys who sacrified their lives. A real must for all to see.

There are so many cemeteries in this area it hard to say any is better than the other, but this is up there, set just a couple of hundred yards from the Sanctuary Wood Museum, a lovely peaceful place of rest.

A couple of hundred yards from the "trenches" experience is the cemetery - so this is a "msut visit" to pay respects

This cemetery is close to the Sanctuary Woods Museum and makes a moving stop before or after the trip to the museum.

I visited many Canadian War cemeteries and it is so sad to see the numerous graves of all of the young soldiers who fought for our freedom and made the ultimate sacrifice.

A very sentimental journey into the past showing the amount of sacrifice given for our future. Very emotional.

We stumbled upon this old small WWI graveyard while on a walk through the pak by the river. A nicely kept graveyard off the main city center in a beautiful surrounding. Stop by if you are strolling through the park.
